ATAPOLY To Partner RMRDC On Strategic Innovation, Development

The Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY), Bauchi and the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Abuja, have agreed to create a powerful partnership aimed at accelerating technological innovation and development.

The pact was solely aimed at boosting raw materials utilization, and supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the industrial sector generally.

ephemeralnews.com.ng reports that the partnership was solidified during a courtesy visit by the Rector of ATAPOLY, Dr. Hashim Sabo-Bello, to the RMRDC Director-General, Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso, in his office in Abuja.

The two institutions picked key areas of collaboration to include:
Fabrication and Technology, Knowledge and technology transfer to enhance local manufacturing capabilities.

Others are Raw Materials Development, MSME Support, Capacity-building programs, Student Training and Skill Development, Collaborative training programs to equip students with industry-relevant skills, Internship and apprenticeship opportunities at RMRDC facilities.

Sabo-Bello disclosed, “a joint committee will be established to develop a comprehensive agreement outlining the specific terms and conditions of the collaboration to formalize the strategic partnership.

“This partnership between ATAPOLY and RMRDC is poised to drive economic growth, create jobs, and foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem in Nigeria.”
