The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has called on Nigerians to join hands with the federal government by acting in ordnance with the constitution to move the country forward.
The agency’s State Director, Mrs Kaneng Pam -Hworo, said this on Tuesday in Jos, during sensitisation walk campaign aimed at creating awareness on the tax reform bill,security consciousness, HIV /AIDS , on human rights and the dangers of the get-rich-quick syndrome.
Hworo, said the sensitisation campaign, was also to orientate Nigerians on the aforementioned vital issues, which would in turn boost the citizens patriotism to the nation.
She said there was the need for every Nigerian to be aware of their HIV/AIDS status, and for those who were yet to know their status, such should go to the nearest government hospital to get screened for free.
Hworo, further said it was imperative for Nigerians to be security conscious at all times and to have adequate information about the new tax reform bill which would help address the issue of double taxation.
