Iniama Urges Housing Commissioner To Meet People’s Expectations

Mr James Iniama, former PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant in 2023 general elections in Akwa Ibom, has urged the new Commissioner for Housing from Itu Local Government Area, Dr Henry Archibong, to serve his people well for posterity.

Iniama, who gave the charge on Tuesday in his congratulatory message to the commissioner in Uyo, urged hi. to also see his appointment as an opportunity to provide them with dividends of democracy

Our Correspondent reports that Archibong was appointed into the State Executive Council and deployed to Ministry of Housing by Gov. Umo Eno.

The ex-guber candidate said: “One of the expectations we your kinsmen have in this era of the twin political status God has graciously thrust on you is the opportunity for the people of Itu LGA to enjoy dividends of democracy with maximum respect.

“I am sure that you will dedicate this elevation to the Almighty God whose ways are past finding out.

“You are the best Gov. Umo Eno has given us in the midst of all who desired to be so appointed.

“Congratulations. God is with you and will prosper your thoughts in this new responsibility.”

Archibong has been a two term House of Representatives member, representing Itu/Ibiono Ibom federal constituency in the National Assembly.

Among the 27 Commissioners and Special Advisers inaugurated into the state executive council were; Mr Aniekan Umanah – Ministry of Information and Mr Frank Archibong – Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Others were; Mrs Emem Ibanga – Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Prof. Eno Ibanga – Ministry of Works and Fire Service and Mr Ini Ememobong – Ministry of Special Duties and Ibom Deep Seaport, among others. (ephemeralnews.com.ng)
