Sen. Karimi’s Foundation Targets 3,000 Students for Bursary Award in Kogi

Sen. Sunday Karimi’s Education Foundation says no fewer than 3,000 students have been targeted to enjoy bursary award in Kogi.

Karimi disclosed this in a statement signed on Thursday in Lokoja, stressing the education foundation is set to commence the bursary award to the targeted students in the state’s three senatorial districts.

He disclosed that disbursement of the bursary award will commence as from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31 with each of the successful beneficiary will receive the sum of N100, 000 only.

According to him, the scholarship scheme is solely meant for students of Kogi state origin in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

He said that out of the 3,000 students, 1,390 students of Kogi west senatorial district in public tertiary institutions would benefit from the bursary award.

The senator representiing Kogi West senatorial district at the National Assembly said that 1, 000 students from Kogi east senatorial district would benefit Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award.

He said that the remaining 610 students from Kogi central senatorial district studying in public tertiary institutions across the country would also be awarded the bursary.
