Former Kogi governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has  lauded the Secretary to the Government in the State (SGS), Dr Folashade Ayoade, as she turned 60 years of age.

Bello made the remarks in a message by his Media Director, Ohiare Michael, on Wednesday in Lokoja

“Very few individuals have the discipline and integrity to serve across administrations with the same effectiveness and grace like her,” he said.

Bello praised the celebrant for her unwavering support, diligence and leadership style throughout his two-term tenure as governor.

According to him, her continued retention in the same role under the current administration is a clear reflection of her outstanding competence, credibility, and continuity of purpose.

The former governor said that serving alongside Ayoade for eight transformative years was not just a privilege, but a partnership built on trust, shared vision, and commitment to progress.

“Ayoade’s continued leadership as SSG is a testament to the consistency of her values and the broad confidence she commands within and outside government.

“She is indeed a role model not only in public service but also in personal character and excellence.

“At 60, you embody a life of purpose, filled with accomplishments, quiet strength, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of good governance.

“You have been a source of inspiration, particularly to women in leadership, and I remain proud of the legacy we built together,” he said.

Bello was joined her family, friends, and the entire people of Kogi in “celebrating a woman of substance, courage, and deep conviction.”

He prayed God to grant her long life, good health, and the strength to continue serving with wisdom, humility, and impact.

“May this new chapter bring you renewed energy and fulfillment in all that you do, ” he added. NAN
