Gov.  Ahmed Ododo of Kogi has pledged continuous interface with communities as a core strategy for driving development across the state.

Ododo made the pledge while inspecting a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) project in Agbadu community in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi on Friday.

The governor, while addressing members of the community, said his allegiance was to the people in the communities whom he said elected him into office.

“I will keep visiting the communities even 1000 times to feel their pulse about my administration and ensure that they get what they want.

“These primary healthcare centres are to ensure that the welfare of our people is well taking care of and they dĺon’t need to travel to urban centre for medical treatment.

“Our President, ĺBola Tinubu, introduced these people- oriented programmes and this administration has keyed into it for the good of our people, ” he said.

He said that he had gone round to inspect all the PHCs under construction, to ensure they are completed according to specification, equipped and commissioned before the year rounds out.

Ododo urged the communities to be weary of criminals and never allow them space to live among them but to expose and report them to constituted authorities.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor also inspected the PHC at Ayegunle Igun Bunu community before proceeding to Kabbah on the same mission.  NAN
