Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Ododo made this known during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders Engagement in Kabba/Bunu local government area of the state on Friday in Kabba.
“In terms of appointment, President Bola Tinubu has shown us that he loves us so much.
“We must reciprocate this love come 2027 by voting him massively for second term, ” he said.
The governor noted that the special recognition and appointments given to the youths of Kogi were beyond expectation and must be appreciated by all kogi residents
He highlighted his administration’s support for Tinubu’s policies and expressed optimism that the President would continue to deliver the “renewed hope” agenda for Nigerians.
“The president has shown us love and we love him back.
“He’s also doing well on security matters. My administration is also fighting criminal elements with all sincerity.
“We can tackle insecurity in Kogi. What we need is credible intelligence as no-one knows our land better than us.
“Anybody caught aiding bandits or terrorists in anyway, especially with feul, will have his or her filling station or house demolished, ” he warned.
On projects, Ododo said the Water project, GYB Science School, Oke-bukun, the PHC centres under construction in the area would be completed and commissioned before the year runs out.
He called on the people of Kabba Bunu LGA to continue supporting his administration, which was out drow development to the area through peopl oriented programmes.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor had earlier met with traditional rulers in the area led by Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, who assured him of their support and maintenance of peace and security in their domains. NAN
