Salem University VC Hails Archbishop Amaga for Successful 2025 Salem-Outpouring-Conference

The Vice Chancellor of Salem University Lokoja, Prof. Alewo Johnson-Akubo, has hailed the university Chancellor, Archbishop Sam Amaga, on the successful commencement of the 2025 Salem outpouring conference.

The VC, who gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen on Friday in Lokoja, described the conference held in Abuja as an “impactful annual spiritual awakening” for the Christians in and outside the country.

Johnson-Akubo said that a 4-day conference with the theme “The Beauty and the Responsibility of Faith” is being hosted by the Foundation Faith Church (also known as the Salem Family Worldwide).

He described Archbishop Amaga, who is the visionary and founding Chancellor of Salem University Lokoja, as an astute leader and godsend to this present generation for the impact he is making in people’s lives.

“The Salem Outpouring Conference is a significant annual Christian gathering in Nigeria.

“It is aimed at encouraging ‘kingdom impact’ and transforming people into living a God-fearing and peaceful life that could bring about growth and development to the country.

“The conference creates an environment meant to deepen attendees’ personal relationship with God, hence the large population that usually occasions it annually.

“Basically, its importance lies in serving as a platform for spiritual renewal, healing, and teachings that inspire participants to live out their faith and love humanity for peaceful coexistence,” he said.

According to him, the participants come from different parts of the world for a “divine experience” that includes prophetic impartation, apostolic teachings, and worship.

The VC further stated that the conference was known for testimonies of miracles, healings, and life transformation.

He called on Christians across the country to take advantage of the conference to renew or strengthen their faith in God to impact lives in their services to Him here on earth.  NAN
