The Kogi Government has commended Mangal Cement Company for the donation of three security vans to bolster security in the state.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, gave the commendation in a statement in Lokoja.
Fanwo expressed appreciation for the donation, which he said aligns with the government’s broader efforts to enhance security through vehicle provision for security agencies and vigilante services, contributing to the overall goal of maintaining a safer environment in Kogi.

“We believe the three brand-new vans will go along way to support the State’s ongoing efforts to enhance security and safeguard the lives and property of our citizens.
“This supportive gesture by mangal cement company, one of the foremost industrial giants in Kogi State, demonstrates a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and partnership with our government in addressing critical security needs.
“The vehicles will significantly boost the operational efficiency of our security agencies as they work tirelessly to maintain peace and order across the state, ” he said.
The government, he said, appreciates the timely support, which demonstrates what is possible when the private sector joins hands with the government in pursuit of a safer and more prosperous Kogi.
The commissioner called on other corporate organizations, business leaders, and stakeholders to emulate Mangal’s exemplary act and support the government in its fight against crime and criminality.
Fabwo said, “Through this shared responsibility and collaborative action, we can continue to advance the security, development, and collective well-being of our people.” (NAN)(www.nannnews.ng)
