The Future Innovators, an NGO, says its forthcoming Festival 3.0 will raise next generation of problem-solvers, innovators, and tech leaders in Nigeria.
Its Founder, Nathaniel Adoyi, made this known in a statement in Lagos on Wednesday.
Adoyi said the festival would provide tech-innovators with platforms to create solutions that positively impacted society.
He said the festival would feature innovative showcases, mentorship sessions, interactive workshops and opportunities for young minds to engage with tech-creatives and entrepreneurship.
According to him, the event will feature technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship, including robotics, mentorship, and student competitions.
He said attendees would benefit from exposure to technology trends, startup guidance, and practical workshops designed to equip young innovators with skills to thrive in the 21st century.
Adoyi said the festival would also feature competitions for students, mentorship sessions with industry leaders and innovation showcases.
“The recognition by wife of Lagos State governor, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos Boy Child Initiative (LBCI) 2026 event is aimed at building on a mission of fostering young innovators who can create sustainable, positive societal impact.
“The festival includes interactive workshops, AI education, and robotics showcases and the target audience are the children and young adults, particularly those from age seven to age 17.
“They are encouraged to move from being technology consumers to builders.
“This movement emphasises collaborating with stakeholders to provide mentorship, internships, and practical tools for children to explore skills like coding and vocational trades,” he said.
Adoyi said the Future Innovators Festival 3.0 would take place between May 15 and May 16 at the Supreme Education Foundation, Magodo, Lagos, starting at 9.00 am.
