Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, a frontline Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Aspirant, on Monday mourned the demise of Pharm Nasiru Yunusa-Muhammed, the former Chief of Staff to His Excellency Capt. Idris Wada, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State.
Awoniyi, who was the Deputy Governor of Kogi, in a condolence message issued to newsmen in Lokoja expressed great regret over the demise of the former Chief of Staff.
He prayed that the Almighty God grants the dear departed eternal rest.
The former Deputy Governor, commiserated with the immediate and extended family of the late Chief of staff over the huge loss.
Awoniyi described Pharm. Nasiru as a humble and intelligent personality who was very efficient and unassuming when he held sway as Chief of Staff.
The PDP Governorship Aspirant also praised late Pharm Nasiru for contributing his quota to the Development of Kogi State when he earlier served as the State Focal Person, MDGs before becoming the Chief of Staff to the former Governor of Kogi State, Capt. Idris Wada.
Awoniyi urged the family of the late Chief of Staff to take solace in the fact that late Pharm. Nasiru left indelible marks on the sands of time and asked that they be consoled by the positive legacies he left behind.
Awoniyi consoled with the entire People of Kogi State and described death as a necessary end to all mortals. May his soul rest in perfect peace. (e-meralnews)
