Alh Ahmed Sule-Chogudo, Clerk, Kogi House of Assembly, has congratulated the assembly workers of the state on this year’s celebration of Workers’ Day.

The clerk, in a statement issued by the assembly’s Director Information, Aka Adebayo, in Lokoja on Sunday, hailed the workers for their unwavering commitment and dedication to duty.

Chogudo commended the staff members for their hard work, diligence and sacrifice, which he noted largely were responsible for the laudable achievements made by the state’s lawmakers.

“It’s a fact that there is dignity in labour, hence the need for dedication and commitment to ones work to bring about desired rapid development in the State..

“I hereby enjoin all civil servants of Kogi to imbibe the culture of productivity, which invariably leads to satisfactory provision of goods and services as well as wealth creation.

“You should know that Gov Yahaya Bello led administration is fully committed to the welfare of workers and human development such that no staff will be denied of his or her salary and allowances,” he assured.

The clerk, however, charged the staff to continue to be dedicated to duty and be loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in the State for more positive results. (E-meralnews)
