Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday expressed optimism that his party would record 99 per cent victory votes in the forthcoming Governorship polls in Kogi
Speaking at a dinner organised to honor the Members of the Kogi State National Campaign Council for the State Governorship Election who are in the State for the official inauguration of the Committee, Ganduje said that the party’s wide acceptance is the magic..
Ganduje described Kogi as an APC state and so the party would defeat all other 17 political parties participating in the election to clinch the number one seat of power in the state.
“APC as a party is very confidence that the it will, this time around, record 99% success in the Nov 11 governorship election.
“Our National Working Committee is focused, energized and united to take APC to the next level by ensuring Victory on all elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states.
“The good thing is that President Bola Ahmed-Tinubu has pledged his support in providing an enabling environment required for peaceful and credible conduct of the Kogi governorship election, ” he said.
Gov. Yahaya Bello said that his successor, the APC Governorship flagbearer, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, has been well groomed, with the needed experience and competence to the state to greater heights.
He expressed the hope that APC would perform more than ever before in the forthcoming Nov 11 governorship election.
Ododo, the APC flag bearer, in his speech, promised to lead the State in a manner that the citizens would be proud of his administration and the state.
He promised to build on the enduring legacies of Gov. Bello in terms of achievements in the areas if health, education, security and agriculture so as bring about growth and development in the state. NAN (ephemeralnews)
