The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),Kogi Chapter on Saturday felicitated with Dr. Oyeyemi Kolapo On Her Turbaning as the New Iyalode Of Egba Muslims.
The Council Chairman and Secretary, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna and Comrade Olusegun Ayindero-Oyenibi respectively, in a statement described the turbaning as “very timely and well deserved.”
The ephemeralnews reports that the coronation of Dr Oyeyemi Kolapo as the New Iyalode Of Egba Muslims comes up on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Egba, Ogun State.
“Dr. Oyeyemi Kolapo, a Corporate Communication Guru and Media Consultant, deserved the honour in view of her commitment to the work of God and humanity at large.
“Kogi Council Of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, hereby felicitate with Corporate Communication Guru, Media Consultant, Publisher and Veteran Journalist, Dr Oyeyemi Kolapo on her turbaning as the new Iyalode Musulumi of Egbaland, Ogun State
“No doubt Kolapo’s impact is felt beyond Egbaland as she has been a source of inspiration and blessings to working journalists in Kogi,” the council said.
The Council urged Dr Oyeyemi Kolapo to see the honour bestowed on her as an opportunity to do more to advance the course of humanity devoid of ethnic, political and religious inclination.
It prayed that the Almighty God will grant her more grace to continue to affect the course of humanity and remain a blessing to all.
The Council pledged its unalloyed support to her course as well as commitment to be partners in progress at all times.
