Ex-Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi on Saturday advised against third party intrusion into marriage for the maintenance of a peaceful and prosperous home.
The former governor gave the advice during the wedding of Rep. Tijani Muhammed-Ozigi (APC-Kogi) for Okene/Ogori Federal Constituency, to his new heartthrob , Hajara Jimoh at Karawuru Lokoja on Saturday.
Bello said that it was very important for well meaning couples to avoid a third-party interference in their marital affairs .
“Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, hence need for couples to avoid third-party interference in marital affairs
“In reality, marriage has its ups and downs. But wish to urge you, this new couple, to perceive it as a covenant that endures all seasons, encompassing both joys and challenges, ” he counselled.
He prayed to God to pour His blessings upon the union for it to bear the desired fruits of happiness and fulfillment.
The former governor further counseled the couple to continue nurturing their relationship with love and understanding in spite of all odds..
However, the wedding ceremony, held in Karawuru, witnessed the presence of family members, distinguished figures from the National Assembly, friends, and associates of the newlywed couple.
