Comrade Sunny James, Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Akwa Ibom State, has congratulated the new Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Azare, on his appointment.
The NLC Chairman seemed for strong partnerships with the Commissioner for the benefit of all citizens of tge state.
James made the remarks during a courtesy visit to the State Police Headquarters, recently, when he praised CP Azare’s efforts in maintaining law and order in the state since assuming office.
He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the Police Command and the NLC, noting, “this partnership has contributed significantly to the state’s peace and security.”
He expressed the NLC’s readiness to work closely with the Police Command to strengthen this partnership for the benefit of all residents.
In response, Azare thanked the NLC delegation for their visit and reaffirmed his commitment to fostering the existing relationship between the Police and the NLC.
He stressed the importance of effective communication between the Police Command and the public, encouraging the dissemination of contact details of principal officers to ensure households have access to critical information and assistance when needed. (ephemeralnews.com.ng)
