Pastor Auta Magani, Action Democratic Party (ADP) House of Representatives Aspirant, has decried the neglect of Kagarko/Kachia Federal in Kaduna by the Federal Government 9ver the years.
Magani, who is the General Overseer (GO) of Truevine Ministry based in Jos, made the remarks in an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Jos, Plateau.
The Cleric cum politician, blamed the Federal Government for the long time neglect of the constituency and deprivation of the constituents of democratic dividends that could impact and change their lives over the years.
He said, “My desire to contest Kagarko/Kachia federal seat in 2027 is purposely to liberate my constituency from total neglect and deprivation
“More painful is the Gurara Dam situated on our land, Kagarko, which supplies Kaduna State with water and electricity, yet the constituents are not benefiting but remain perpetually in darkness and thirst.
“If elected in to office in 2027, by God’s grace, the tempo will change, and the constituency shall enjoy both electricity and water being generated in that Dam.”
The ADP candidate disclosed that the challenges facing Kagarko/Kachia federal constituency include poor road networks, lack of water and electricity, insecurity, and inadequate education for its teaming youths amongst others.
He also said that aside from a long time neglected by the government over the years, the weight of insecurity on the constituency, which made him support the planned establishment of state Police.
“In fact, there can not be any meaningful development or progress in any society without peace, therfore, we must all support the state Police idealogy for the restoration of peace in our communities and Nigeria as a whole.
“My desire to contest for the federal seat is mostly to give the constituents a purposeful representation and leadership toward turning around the constituency’s sicio- economic climate.
“The interest came from a crying and desiring heart of a son, who deeply loves his people and can no longer remain silent while his people suffer in silence and deprivation, ” he stated.
Magani further disclosed that all was set for his formal declaration and the unveiling of his manifesto to the people of Kagarko/Kachia federal constituency seeking their support and votes for his election as their representative at the National Assembly in 2027.
