Ex-Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi, on Thursday extended his warm felicitations to Rear Admiral Kehinde Odubanjo, the Deputy Chief of Defence Space Administration (DCDSA), on the occasion of his 54th Birthday.
In his heartfelt message issued in Lokoja, Bello lauded Rear Admiral Odubanjo’s exceptional service, highlighting his unwavering patriotism and dedication to duty.
He fondly recalls Odubanjo’s tenure as Commander of NNS LUGARD in Lokoja, Kogi State, describing it as a pivotal moment in curbing criminal activities along the waterways and other parts of the state.
Bello further acknowledges Rear Admiral Odubanjo’s invaluable contributions to his administration as governor of Kogi State, emphasizing his significant role in ensuring security and stability within the State.
Rear Admiral Kehinde John Odubanjo, DSS BSc MNIM psc(+) mni, boasts an illustrious military career, graduating from the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy and excelling in various specialized courses, including Above Water Warfare training in India.
The Senior Officer has held several strategic appointments so far in his career.
He was a Directing Staff, Chief Instructor and Director Department of Maritime Warfare at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji-Kaduna.
He was also a Moderator at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru-Jos from January 2018 to June 2020. Prior to his appointment as the DCDSA, he was the Fleet Commander, Eastern Naval Command, Calabar.
Odubanjo has various awards and decorations to his credit, some of which include Distinguished Service Star (DSS), Member Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), psc(+), and mni.
