The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) chapter, has provided financial support to three of its ailing members.
Mrs Victoria Samson, the Chairperson of the association and a nurse, said this on Friday in Jos.
She stated that the gesture was aimed at offering both financial and emotional support to its members facing health challenges.
Samson explained that the donation, made through the association’s Caring Hands Welfare Scheme, was intended to support members during difficult times.

She added that it would help relieve the financial burden caused by the high cost of medications required for their treatment.
Samson described the association as a close-knit family that would not remain idle when one of its members was in need.
The chairperson assured the beneficiaries of the association’s continued love and unwavering support.
In a similar vein, Mrs Mary Umar, Head of the Nursing Department, emphasised that the donation was designed to ease the financial strain that the ailing members faced due to their health issues.
She encouraged the members to remain hopeful and reassured them of the association’s ongoing assistance.
Mrs Tabitha Chong, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed deep gratitude to the association for its generous gesture.
She said, “This act has shown that this isn’t just an association, but a true family that is moved by the plight of its members. We are sincerely grateful.”
