Alhaji Sule Enehe, Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), on Thursday urged the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice as they celebrate Eid-El-Kabir.

In a Sallah message to the management and staff of the service on the occasion of the Eid-El-Kabir festival in Lokoja, he emphasised that love, sacrifice, and righteous living were essential for development.

Enehe used the occasion to call on Muslim faithful within the organisation to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, love, and righteous conduct as they joined their brethren worldwide to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir 2025.

“The real essence of the Sallah celebration goes beyond feasting on choice meals; it is about promoting brotherhood, piety, sacrifice, and self-discipline,” he said.

“Therefore, use this occasion to pray for the peace and progress of the state and the nation as a whole,” he said.

He also congratulated all Muslim faithful in the state and prayed that all residents experienced joy, peace, and love during the Sallah celebration and beyond. NAN
