Dr Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Church (DIGC), has advised Nigerian leaders to lead with human conscience.

Enenche gave the advice on Thursday shortly after his arrival in Makurdi for a two-day healing and deliverance crusade with the theme ‘Mercy of God’.

The senior pastor charged leaders of governments at all levels to take responsibility and lead with compassion.

He said insecurity and other forms of ugly situations ongoing in the country have continued to threaten the fabric of the nation, adding that only the mercies of God would save the nation.

Enenche also urged Nigerians to pray and seek God’s mercies so that they would not be consumed.

“We are here to connect with the God of mercy. The Bible said it is of the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassion fails not; they are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.

“We live in a nation at a time when we need nothing but the mercy of God, whether it is an insecurity situation or any other form of situation that threatens to consume the land. We are coming to ask for mercy from God to prevent us from being consumed.

“The Bible said they looked up to Him, and they were enlightened, and their faces were not ashamed. Let us look away from ourselves and alternatives and look up to God.

“While we work and do our best to do the work of our creator, let us look up to God and trust Him for His intervention,” he urged. NAN
