State House Visit: Tinubu Warmly Receives Yahaya Bello, Discusses Security, Economic Matters

Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi was on Friday warmly received by President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he had a meeting with Mr President.

A statement issued in Lokoja by Bello’s Media Aide, Onogwu Muhammed, said meeting between the duo was marked by a profound and insightful discussion, delving into crucial matters surrounding security and economics.

Muhammad said that the president had commended the governor for his exemplary stewardship in steering the ship of Kogi for good eight years having assumed office on Jan. 27, 2016.

“This acknowledgement from Mr. President serves as a testament to Gov Bello’s commendable leadership qualities that brought about the glaring growth and development of Kogi.

“The president also affirmed Gov Bello’s dedication and impactful contributions to the prosperity and well-being of the people of Kogi, following the economic transformation of the state, ” he said.

The media Aide said that Bello’s term comes to an end on Jan. 27 as he would be handing over the Barton of leadership to his worthy successor , Usman Ododo, the governor-elect. (ephemeralnews)
