The Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom Council has presented an award of excellence to Ibom Air for Outstanding Customer Experience and performance in the aviation industry.
The award was presented when the chapel paid a visit to Ibom Air on Friday at the Ibom Air Headquarters, Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo.
The Chairman of the Correspondents chapel, Comrade Bassey Anthony, who led the delegation while presenting the award commended Ibom Air for its consistent delivery of world-class service, that has redefined air travel in Nigeria.

Anthony thanked Ibom Air for its support during the annual correspondent chapel week.
Receiving the award on behalf of Ibom Air, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr George Uriesi, expressed profound gratitude to the chapel for the recognition.
Uriesi thanked the journalists for their continued support in reporting the activities of the company.
The CEO urged reporters to remain objective and factual in their reportage, adding that the media plays a critical role in shaping public perception and holding institutions accountable.
The visit further strengthened the cordial relationship between Ibom Air and the Correspondent Chapel of the NUJ, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to excellence and the development of Akwa Ibom.
Also present at the meeting were; Amaka Echetabu, Director of Airline Services for Ibom Air, and Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager, Marketing and Communications among others.
